Weekly Weather Outlook
We continue to see dry signals across much of Australia as we look ahead to the seasonal outlooks, with El Niño continuing to intensify.This week, we check in on our seasonal forecast and the key climate drivers to keep you up to date with what’s ahead.For the weather this week, conditions remain fairly dry across Western Australia, with a front moving through on Monday before quickly clearing.Further south and east, across Tasmania, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, a trough and front will combine to deliver multiple days of rainfall from Wednesday through to Saturday. Unfortunately, these are the same regions that experienced flooding last week, so there is potential for further flooding as this system develops.There will also be some coastal rainfall across New South Wales and Queensland.For more details, check out this week’s update videos.
